My first thoughts thinking about Sarah is the old Clint Eastwood film, “The Good, Bad, and Ugly.” Just kidding! With Sarah, it was “The Good, Caring, and Funny.” Good: for every animal she saved. Caring and funny: daily.

Caring: when I had surgery in SC and she drove from Atlanta to take care of me, cooking and cleaning. Caring: then, she took my middle daughter, Audrey to Atlanta. They had a blast.

Funny: after my daughter was in Atlanta, she would make plastic Sarah faces. I’m not sure if Audrey picked it up in Atlanta, or if it’s just plain genetics, but Audrey and I would talk and she would make a face. I would laugh and say, “Oh my God. You’re Aunt Sarah’s kid. How did you end up living in my house?” We all know Sarah had funny expressions, sayings, and jokes. I’m just glad that every time Audrey makes a Sarah face, I can think I love you both. I’ll miss you Sarah.

Love,
Liz
